When sending a congratulations message to graduates, Excelsior University wanted to surprise graduates with more than the usual letter, so instead sent a fun sticker sheet with a letter on the back. Graduates had a tangible way to show their excitement and pride by decorating their phones, laptops and water bottles with Excelsior stickers. The stickers also recognized the many types of graduates with a fill-in-the-blank sticker option of “Proud Graduate AND…” An informational sidebar highlighted five ways for graduates to stay involved as alumni.
